What are the aspirations for the post-2020 global biodiversity framework? One Earth journal invited 9 research leaders to respond with their own perspectives and individual visions. In the context of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP-15) we need to stop the loss of biodiversity and its impacts on ecosystems, species, and human systems. “Voices” has compiled the 9 responses in this article.
