New times yes, new normal... not exactly. Physically apart, it is a fact, but not distant. We have discovered new ways to interact, but we have not distanced socially. On the contrary, we approached all necessary groups, those that we normally interact with, those that await our results, those that are the target of our research, working groups, international dialogues, local actions, fishermen, fisherwomen, research planning (see the dialogues tab on the left to learn more). The team remained active, and despite the challenges, we did not distance ourselves as a research group. Core group meetings actually became more frequent. We were also able to bring together former members who are currently many kilometers from USP and Brazil. We continue to walk the proposed paths together, and how good it is to meet everyone again, even if virtually. Let us continue with hope, thank you all for keeping us together.
