Mariana Santos Lobato Martins presented orally the study "The (re) existence of the Caiçara community of Barra do Una, south coast of São Paulo: a record of the diversity of traditional fishing gears and current conflicts" at the 32nd Brazilian Meeting of Anthropology which took place from October 30 and November 6, 2020, virtually.
Her study updates a lots of important information for fishery management and presents original records of local fishing knowledge. The anthropological look at the fisheries issue provides for an incorporation of new epistemologies.
