The special report launched by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) brings new scientific data on the ocean and cryosphere, modifications in marine systems, affected populations, extreme events, and other evaluations. Prof. Mary Gasalla commented this new report during a recent radio interview.  The relationships between climate and ocean and how one may influence the other, as well as the projections on sea level rise, extreme events frequencies, and absorption of carbon dioxide were highlighted.
