"Women from the fisheries: tell your story" was the event we organized as part of the official education program of the FLIP 2019 (International Literary Festival of Paraty). We also launched the educative booklet  "Mulheres da Pesca: Faces Femininas na Economia Azul" (Women from the fisheries: feminine faces in the blue economy, authors from LabPesq), distributed in several region's cultural centres and libraries.

The highly emotional event occurred in July 11 at the Casa Azul Community Library counting on several women that participate in our project and put together relevant fisher women of the Paraty's region.

Testimonies, impressions, talk circles and poems were shared in a warm and inspiring environment. The project "Women from the fisheries/Mulheres da Pesca" (mulheresdapesca.com)  was presented to the whole community, representing and important educative opportunity to all in Paraty during the FLIP (International Literary Festival of Paraty).
