In March 2019, the Intergovernmental Panel on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) of the United Nations organized a workshop in Vancouver with the scenarios and models group. The event had the participation of experts from more than 30 countries focused on analyzing the nature future framework and the development of narratives for a next generation of scenarios, at different scales.
