The first seminar of the series focused on the advanced science on climate change and oceans, as part of the project on the future of marine-dependent societies at the Institute of Advanced Studies of USP.  

Invited panelists were Drs. Marion Gehlen (IPSL, França) and William Cheung (University of British Columbia, Canada) whose own research experience uses global climate and biogeochemical models and are both interested in the particular aspects related to living resources and oceans’ contributions to society. The seminar had online participation of more than 120 attendees.
